ABOUT ME
I’m Sam!
A creative communicator with a passion for digital media, branding, and storytelling.
I grew up in South Western Australia, where I developed a deep love for the ocean, sport, and the outdoors, a lifestyle that’s shaped my creativity, work ethic, and perspective.
My interest in media and marketing began in high school, and since then, I’ve built skills across content creation, videography, graphic design, and social media strategy. Through university, freelance projects, and hands-on experience, I’ve developed a strong eye for visuals, an understanding of audience engagement, and a drive to help brands tell their stories in meaningful ways.
I’m always looking to learn, grow, and be part of projects with purpose, whether that’s shaping brand identity, creating engaging content, or bringing ideas to life through digital media.
Graphic Design
My graphic design journey began in high school, where I created t-shirt designs for fun. It’s something I’ve continued ever since, through formal studies, client work, and personal projects. I work across branding, merchandising, social media, and marketing design, utilising Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, always aiming for clean, purposeful visuals. I’m constantly learning, growing, and building on my skills because I genuinely love the creative process.
I’m actively seeking graphic design work and opportunities to gain more experience. If you’re interested or have ideas you'd like to bring to life, I’d love to hear from you!

Photography
My love for photography began with taking goofy photos on my grandparents’ iPad as a kid. After blowing my knee surfing and undergoing surgery, I was stuck on land. I picked up a camera and started shooting surf sessions instead of being in them. That time helped me learn to frame motion, work with natural light, and experiment with angles and composition. Since then, my passion has evolved into capturing everything from landscapes to portraits, using both digital and film to document real, raw moments with creative intention.

Videography started as a creative outlet I did for fun, but it’s become something I’m passionate about developing. I’ve gained experience through university documentary projects, surf edits for friends, landscape and wildlife videography, as well as comedy skits and fishing videos. I’m always looking to grow, take on new projects, and get better day by day.
